Shalom 8x10

$36.00

Fine Art Giclee Print

Shalom שָׁלוֹם, is a multi faceted word in Hebrew. It can be a greeting (hello or goodbye), it can also mean peace, completeness, wholeness and soundness. It can refer to a persons well being. When you bring shalom you bring wholeness, restoration to relationships.

The prophet Isaiah looked to the future when God would bring a king who would bring complete shalom and there will be no end to his kingdom. “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.” Isaiah 9:6,7.

When Jesus came, He said to his followers, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27

He restored the wholeness between the creation and the Creator.
